The Florida Association of Academic Nonpublic Schools is a voluntary association of nonpublic school accrediting agencies and other nonpublic school organizations. Its membership represents all of the major nonpublic school faith-based and non sectarian accrediting associations in Florida and thus encompasses the majority of the nonpublic schools in the State.

FAANS serves as a vital link between nonpublic schools and the Florida Legislature and the Florida Department of Education.  It provides information for the many inquiries from parents, the media, national school organizations, and government agencies for information related to nonpublic school education in Florida.
